Spring Canyon is part of Turtle Mountain. A varied landscape of low hills, cacti. a canyon with a fast flowing river. It was still raining regularly here, and during our hike, new showers were already forming.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
