The Holtingerveld in Drenthe is a beautiful nature reserve near Havelte where an airport was built by the Germans during the Second World War. However, this airfield was never operational because of the many bombings by the Allies in March 1945.

My name is Jan Willem Oldenbeuving, living in Zwartsluis. I have been photographing seriously since 2019 and will graduate from the Dutch Academy for Image Creation in January 2023. I mainly photograph Landscapes and urban architecture. Besides free work in nature and city work, I do commissioned portraits and weddings.
