In spring, in grasslands and roadsides, you can recognise the striking sky-blue, proportionally large flowers of the Ordinary Price of Honour, Verónica chamáedrys. The flowers appear in clusters at the top of the upright to upright plants. The hairy leaves are opposite each other and have no to very short stems less than 6 mm long. They are hairy just like the stems, which usually have two rows of hairs.
