About "Honouring Alcinoe's ancient history"

About the artwork

Alcinoe is a lady from ancient history. She has a story to tell. This lady also goes to the queen's birthday party, but she is not a relative. She is the queen's best friend. Her brother is an esteemed engineer at court, but because of this, she does not have the means to go to a designer. And so she has turned to her brother to see if he can make something for her. Of course, it has to be appropriate for the occasion, so quite a lot is expected of him. He sets to work and something beautiful is bound to come out of it. And beautiful the headdress certainly turned out. Of course, you can see that it was made by an engineer, but she wears it with pride. Consequently, she gets many positive comments, which makes her even prouder if possible. The colours of this abstract work are intense because people are intensely proud of it. The colours used in this portrait are red, orange, brown, green, cream and black.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
