The gentle hummocky meadows between Mittenwald and Krün in Werdenfelser Land stretch out before me like a carpet of emerald green, kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind. Every hill is a little jewel in the crown of nature, a caress for the senses and a poem to the beauty of life.
The Zugspitze rises majestically on the horizon, at 2,962 metres the queen of the Alps and a symbol of the immeasurable power and majesty of nature. Its snow-covered summit towers over the Wetterstein mountains like a watchful eye, keeping watch over the land and guarding its secrets.
