About ‘I can see you’ by Jolanda Dekker

This is a portrait that looks directly at you with big eyes. If you then look closer, you see that it is not looking at you but slightly away from you. Almost a little startled. This makes you think. What has she seen? What does she want to tell you with her eyes. My vision in this is as follows: let your imagination run wild and see where your story comes out. My inspiration always comes from a blank base. Start by setting up a background by taking colour by feel and putting it on top. Then I start putting down the base of the face. Love that this is modern and that it is out of proportion. So this time by emphasising the eyes and making them bigger than what should be. You can also clearly see that I have worked in layers as the base comes through the face. All this is painted in acrylic paint. The atmosphere I wanted to create is mysterious. The work fits well in a modern interior that could use a good eye-catcher. This work has been converted to a digital file.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
