The sun slowly sinks behind the horizon, but before it disappears, its warm light touches the cold surface of this mountain flank near Chamonix one last time. In this precise moment, the icy terrain of the Mont Blanc massif is transformed into a glowing plain of gold and amber.
The rugged snow and jagged ice formations catch the light in a way that seems almost unreal. As if fire spread gently over the ice - warm in colour, but without heat. The dark sky above it adds depth, and the mist rising from the valley makes the image almost mystical.
"Ice in Firelight" is a visual study of contrasts: hard and soft, light and dark, chill and glow. The image is quiet but charged with tension. It invites you to look, and then look again - because in the details lies the wonder.
Perfect for interiors seeking tranquillity, but not without character. This work brings the intensity of nature inside, with a softness that lingers.
