The Sternbrücke is a historic structure in the park on the Ilm, which was designed in the style of an English landscape garden with Goethe's co-operation. The site subtly combines architecture, nature and movement. My inspiration was to capture this transition between the built structure and the natural course of the river - a moment that appears neither staged nor random.
I wanted to create an atmosphere of stillness and concentration. The picture invites you to pause and notice the small movements in a seemingly still landscape.
In an interior setting, this work brings a calm, contemplative quality to the room. It is particularly suitable for places that want to promote mindfulness, closeness to nature and visual depth.
