About the artwork

Photo taken during the setting sun in Rotterdam. In this photo Rotterdam and the Europort. The Europoort is an industrial and port area south of the Nieuwe Waterweg and north of the Hartel Canal, east of the Maasvlakte and west of the Botlek. The area belongs to the municipality of Rotterdam and covers 3,600 ha. Europoort, together with Botlek, forms one of the largest petrochemical industrial areas in the world. At the beginning of the Calandkanaal, ore transhipment takes place at Ertsoverslagbedrijf Europoort. In the east of the Europoort area, transhipment of cars, steel and wood products takes place at specialised terminals. The area was built between 1958 and 1964 on the island of Rozenburg, which was largely excavated before that. Apart from the village of Blankenburg (400 inhabitants) and many farms, the De Beer bird sanctuary also had to make way.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
