One of the most beautiful parks in Brasschaat is certainly De Mick park, an English-style estate of about 35 ha with a large pond, a small castle and a photogenic gate tower. A large collection of different tree species including American Sequoia, Pedunculate Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Beech a.o. Want to visit fin you an entrance a.o. in the Miksebaan . This photo which is somewhat reminiscent of a winter landscape is in fact an Infrared image photographed on a rare sunny day in June. For this I used my old Nikon D70 which is perfect to use without any adjustments together with a B&W infrared filter. So first make a composition and focus and only then can you screw on this black filter. A 15-second exposure was sufficient. Afterwards this photo was slightly adjusted in some parts with Tonal Contrast from Color Efex Pro by Nik Software.
