The first Mini Woody with wooden side and rear panels was launched in 1960 and was called COUNTRYMAN and TRAVELLER in England. The difference to the English Minis and those built by Innocenti was, however, that they were more luxuriously equipped in the interior, among other things. Seats in leather (not always), the steering wheel in wood. In addition, there was an independent radiator grille that was supposed to convey Italian flair and large chrome rings for the front headlights. Also 4.5 inch sports rims with "Leyland-L" on the hub cap.
The Innocenti Mini 850 Traveller shown in its original colour (first registration 07/1967) had no front triangular windows as immediately recognisable on (Leyland-)Innocenti cars and therefore still belongs to the Mark I series which was built from 1959-1969.
