Lecce is a city in the Apulia region, also known as Puglia, and the entire city centre of Lecce is like an open-air museum. You'll feast your eyes on the old, beautiful, monumental buildings. Houses, churches, government buildings, palaces and museums. If you like baroque, this is the place to be. If I ever emigrate to Italy, I would like to live in Lecce. A well-organised city where you can still get lost in the narrow streets and eat and drink on a terrace on one of the many squares. And the weather is often lovely there.
