About the artwork

To him who with sociable talk showed me the great goal consciously pursued: the awakening proletariat, their beautiful struggle for the new life.

A lot of text on this work of art and a moon squatting naked on one knee. The boy sits as a nude model with a cock on one knee, with the legs, scrotum, abdomen, torso with chest exposed on the nude portrait.

All in all a sexy and sensual erotic picture with romance.

Jacob (Jac.) Jongert (Wormer, North Holland, the Netherlands, June 22, 1883 - Reeuwijk, South Holland, November 9, 1942) was a Dutch graphic artist, graphic designer, illustrator, interior designer, muralist, glazier, painter, decorative artist, advertising designer, teacher at academy, ceramic designer, etcher, draughtsman, lithographer, and book designer.

Jongert trained at the Kunstnijverheidsschool Quellinus Amsterdam from 1899 to 1902, at the Rijksschool voor Kunstnijverheid in Amsterdam for a year in 1902-03 and at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam in 1903-04. From 1918 to 1940, he was head teacher at the Decorative Arts and Applied Arts department of the Academy of Visual Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam.

Jongert was a member of the circle of visual artists R 33.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
