Louis Napoleon Bonaparte (originally: Luigi Napoleone Buonaparte) (Ajaccio, 2 September 1778 - Livorno, 25 July 1846), nicknamed the Lamme King, Louis the Good and Rabbit of 'Olland , was the younger brother of Emperor Napoleon I and the father of the later French Emperor Napoleon III. In 1806 he became king of Holland by order of his brother Napoleon. For a long time historians considered him not to be an independent monarch, but merely a crowned governor.
Around the portrait of the king there are three women and a female angel standing topless on the work of art with the horn of plenty. In the middle sits Lady Justice with her sword and scales. The maid on the right is completely naked, so that her legs, stomach, chest and breasts are exposed on the drawing.
Jan Lodewijk Jonxis, or Jean Louis Jonxis, (Utrecht, Netherlands 9 April 1789 - 17 February 1866) was a Dutch painter, lithographer and drawing teacher. Jonxis was a member of the Genootschap Kunstliefde (Brotherhood of Love for Art).
