The Jan Schaefer Bridge spans the IJ and connects the Java island with the centre of Amsterdam. This work shows the bridge from below. In the foreground the cobblestones of the Javakade. In the middle of the picture the mighty pillars and underside of the bridge. The other side of the IJ is also clearly visible. By using a special technique, the depth of field of this image is phenomenal.
