This multi-layered work transports the viewer into a surreal, symbolically charged scene full of mystery and dark poetry. At the centre is a red stiletto - a symbol of femininity, seduction and vulnerability. It rests on an implied chessboard floor that hints at strategy, power and the game between the sexes. This stage is embedded in a gloomy forest, through whose gnarled silhouettes pale moonlight penetrates and creates a mysterious, almost ghostly atmosphere.

The forest floor, slightly hilly and overgrown with scattered flowers, contrasts delicately with the dark threat that enters the picture from the left: a black bird with metallic silver ornaments and chains, whose appearance is both majestic and menacing. It appears to be a guardian or the bearer of a dark message.

Parts of the shoe reveal shadowy faces - a woman, a man - fragmentations of a relationship, memories or projections of inner soulscapes. The framing of the picture by a grid structure reinforces the feeling of enclosure, perhaps even imprisonment.

This work was created many years ago as an artistic exploration of the controversial song "Jeanny" by Falco - an homage that does not judge, but translates memories, questions and emotions into pictorial form. It invites reflection on power, powerlessness, desire and the dark facets of human relationships.
