This synagogue in Kampen was built in 1847 by city architect Nicolaas Plomp on behalf of the Dutch Israelite community of Kampen. The building was used as a synagogue until 1947 and then fell into disrepair. In the 1970s, the building was completely restored and is now part of the municipal museum. At the front of the building you can see a plaque with the Jewish star which is a monument in memory of the Jewish victims from Kampen during the 2nd world war
