What was told beforehand: you will leave the Lake Son-Kul area and drive through the Moldo-Ashuu pass (about 3,346 m above sea level) and then pass through a wild, largely uninhabited part of Kyrgyzstan to another mountain pass, the Kara-Koo (3,907 m above sea level).
The route takes you along roads that wind through incredibly beautiful gorges. During your drive, be prepared for amazing views of the impressive mountains and gorges.
And there really was nothing wrong with that, what a beautiful day of travelling this was.
I stared my eyes out.
