About ‘Kestrel, Falco tinnunculus’ by Gert Hilbink
The Kestrel, Falco tinnunculus, is a smaller bird of prey common in Europe. It is often seen perched on poles used as observation posts. You can also often see it "praying" above grasslands looking mainly for rodents. It is a very active hunter and dives for its prey.

Hello, nice that you take a look in my shop. So my name is Gert Hilbink, living in Coevorden. I have been doing photography since I was 13, inspired by a biology teacher at the then U.L.O. school in Coevorden. Generally I mainly photograph nature but actually find everything that can fly very interesting. If you have any questions about my work, it is possible to contact me via the contact page of my website GertPhotography.nl
