About ‘Ketliker Skar.’ by Jakob Huizen van

The third in this series of the Ketliker Skar. I like the reversal of the colour photo to black and white and then editing the photo to graphic and sepia. I don't think there is any noise in it and if there is, it is not really distracting in these prints. I still enjoy some grain in photos's reminds me of the analogue era where I took photos with high ISO to get noise or grain. Grain we called it then. The work as I made it now appeals to you or not. If it appeals to you and fits into your interior, this is a nice wall hanging.

My name is Jakob van huizen. I photograph with a Canon EOS 30 D and a Canon EOS 6 D Mark II. I use Canon and Tamron lenses.
Photography has been my passion for years. The last few years I have come to the point that I want to share my photography with others. In my images I always try to capture a theme, the goal is that a picture tells a story. With some pictures this will be easier then with others.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
