About "Khepri, the Egyptian scarab"

About the artwork

The Egyptian scarab, also called pill beetle or dung beetle represents rebirth. The title is the name for this little animal "Khepri".

Egypt has always attracted me, from the pyramids to pharaohs and all that goes with them. The stories about the gods, building the pyramids and tombs is very interesting. I myself have never been there, but have read many a book and magazine. The shapes and colors are also very beautiful, natural but also striking. Not to mention the beautiful names like Khepri, Imhotep and the well-known Cleopatra.

This work was created on the computer along with my fine drawing tablet. When using the background color I took into account the colors of today and that it radiates warmth. The beetle has striking colors such as gold and jade green.

I think that there will be more works with the theme Egypt. So keep an eye on my shop:)

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
