An old birch tree. The years have obviously taken their toll on it; there is not much left of the white face of the usual birch bark. The trunk seems unusually rough, mosses and lichens conquer their space on its surface, as they have long done on the neighboring rocks. A rustic scenery, as I find. That's exactly why I liked it so much.
