About ‘Kop van Zuid’ by Jeroen de Jongh Photography

The Kop van Zuid is a new district in Rotterdam, located on the south bank of the Nieuwe Maas river opposite the city centre. The district consists of the Wilhelminapier and the V bounded by the Rosestraat / Rotterdam-Dordrecht railway line on the one hand and the Hilledijk / Hillestraat / Rijnhaven on the other hand.

The Kop van Zuid is and will be built on former disused port sites around the Binnenhaven, Entrepothaven, Rijnhaven, Spoorweghaven and the Wilhelminapier. Together with the Nieuwe Maas, these port sites created a large physical distance between the centre to the north of the Maas and Rotterdam-Zuid. By transforming this area into an urban area and by building good connections, an attempt is being made to unite North and South.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
