The Kyffhäuser Monument (also Barbarossadenkmal) is an Emperor Wilhelm monument in the Kyffhäuser Mountains in the grounds of the former Imperial Castle of Kyffhausen in the Kyffhäuser district of Thuringia. The 81 m high monument was erected between 1892 and 1896 in honour of Emperor Wilhelm I. It is the third largest monument in Germany after the Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig and the Emperor Wilhelm Monument at the Porta Westfalica.
