About ‘Lac de Argentat, Corrèze, France’ by Patrick Mollema

Water, trees and sky. The worst of the fog is lifting. The colours in the sky are becoming more visible. Peace and serenity are given full play in the photo. Typical of the French department of Corrèze.

Made in an area which is very peaceful, calm and full of wonderful nature. This lake nestles next to the Dordogne River near the town of Argentat.

This work was also made as it was at the time. My interpretation made purely with the camera. Pure photography without post-processing. Photography cannot be much more honest.

A photographer for 42 years. From analogue to digital. A real old-fashioned photographer. Everything you see and buy is real. I don't do post-processing because I can really photograph and don't need post-processing because I have total control over technique and my cameras. That is a very big difference.

Real photography, always with beautiful light and the subjects I photograph are very diverse.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
