Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Lady aboard a cruise ship’ by Matthias Stolt

The elegant young lady stands at the railing of a cruise ship and gazes out at the vast sea. Her elegant dress and jewellery with red gemstones are reminiscent of the days of old luxury cruise ships, when travelling was only possible for the very wealthy. The photo was taken during a shoot for a cruise ship brochure. I asked the model to stand by the railing so that the evening sun would illuminate her from the side. The warm light flattered her body and bathed the image in a romantic, nostalgic mood. The photo was taken with a telephoto lens with a focal length of 135 mm.

Matthias Stolt

Hamburg, Germany

I worked as a freelance photo designer for 25 years. My focus was on fashion and advertising photography. I am also the author of numerous books and articles in trade magazines.
Before becoming self-employed, I worked in marketing for a large camera manufacturer, where I was in charge of public relations.

I discovered my love of photography during my training as a retoucher. This sparked a desire not only to edit photos, but to take them myself.
