Lake Thun ripples gently under a light breeze. In the distance, dark mountain silhouettes rise against a semi-overcast sky.
Between the clouds, broad rays of sunlight fall on the water, moving with the waves like golden ribbons. The sparkle on the lake constantly changes, as if the light itself dances with the rhythm of the wind.
Lake Thun is located in Switzerland, more specifically, in the Bernese Oberland on the northern edge of the Alps. The lake is named after the town of Thun on the north-west of the lake. The River Aare is the largest river flowing through the lake.
