Lamborghini Espada S1 is the successor of the famous Lamborghini Marzal who used the stylistic elements of the hexagon for the first time. The Lamborghini Marzal was built as a so-called concept car completely functional and ready to drive. However, it is much more similar to the 1967 Jaguar Pirana by Bertone (designed by Marcello Gandini, who also developed the styling of the Lamborghini Countach), where the prototype of the Espada was actually developed on the wooden model of the Marzal.
