Landscape - Constraints is a landscape painting from my ongoing series of artworks that question contemporary landscape and the influences of climate change on it.
This painting doesn't show direct climate crises, such as fires like many paintings in the series do. It shows a pretty landscape of hills and mountains, painted by a photo I took while visiting the mountain Zlatar in Serbia.
The lovely landscape is framed with the space that is closing in on it, symbolizing the disappearance of nature, and the relationship people have with it.
Painting is done in oil on canvas. The landscape itself is painted in an expressive way.
