About ‘Landscape Iceland, Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach’ by Gert Hilbink
Small and large icebergs on the beach at Jokulsarlon. The lake is formed by the melting water of the Vatnajökull glacier. The glacier breaks into pieces at the end of the lake and these pieces of ice float down to the sea and are then thrown on the beach by the wind and tides.

Hello, nice that you take a look in my shop. So my name is Gert Hilbink, living in Coevorden. I have been doing photography since I was 13, inspired by a biology teacher at the then U.L.O. school in Coevorden. Generally I mainly photograph nature but actually find everything that can fly very interesting. If you have any questions about my work, it is possible to contact me via the contact page of my website GertPhotography.nl
