During a trip through Zambia, I spent several days in South Luangwa a National Park with a high density of wildlife.
In the morning we came across a pride of lions on the banks of the Luangwa that had taken down a buffalo. The conditions were not suitable for photos of sufficient quality.
By the end of the day, the lions were sleeping near the carcass.
That produced this image of the sleeping lioness.
