During a trip through Zambia, I spent several days in South Luangwa an area full of wildlife.
Early in the afternoon we came across a leopard sleeping in a tree. As this one had no intention of doing anything, we decided to come back towards the evening as a leopard usually goes hunting by then.
The leopard did indeed come out of the tree, sauntered around but apparently was not planning to hunt yet. Other tourists noticed that something was going on and came driving in our direction. Their lights illuminated the leopard at a different angle than those of our car. This gave us the opportunity to turn off the lights and make use of the skimming light that the other car dropped on the leopard.
