In Haute-Savoie, on the border between France and Switzerland and near "the end of the world" (Le Bout du Monde) is a beautiful horseshoe-shaped valley called Le Cirque du Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. Here the river Le Giffre flows, fed by the many waterfalls that come down from all sides.
At 2985m, the Pic de Tenneverge towers over 2000 meters above the valley. It marks the beginning of the hike to Le Bout du Monde. On the other side of the mountain are the Lac d'Emosson reservoir and the Mont Blanc massif.
The overwhelming nature here calms me. I enjoy the sound of the river flowing with its clear water over the mostly black and white rocks and can spend hours watching how the light creates ever-changing hues on the surrounding mountains. In the spring and summer, the trees in the valley are fresh green in color and provide a beautiful contrast to the rocks.
Words that suit this image as far as I am concerned are fresh, powerful and pure. A nice addition in your interior that combines well with various interior styles and green plants. With a picture like this on the wall you can always escape from everyday life for a while.
