An Indonesian folk legend about the haughty god Semar. The vain and beautiful god Semar finds humans too ugly and insignificant to deal with and wants to be with the stars. To this end, he turns a pile of stones into a tall mountain. When he is in turn rejected by the stars, he has to pay a high price for his pride. Deformed and small, he only dares to go public in the wajang game.
