About "Light the path"

About the artwork

In a misty forest, sunlight falls on the dirt track. Two large forest giants stand on either side of the path, forming a passageway to what is hidden behind the mist. What could be found there?

In my imagination, I see a unicorn crossing the path in the distance, bathing in the sun, but at the same time hidden in the mist. Or maybe there is a group of horsemen thundering towards you from the distance. Or in the distance, through the mist, a great white city would suddenly rise up, as if you were about to enter a Lord of the Rings movie.

I love to dream away at this work, to solve the mystery that lies behind the road. It is a very mysterious work in that respect. It tickles my imagination and, as far as I am concerned, it fits into a very imaginative environment.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
