The beautiful red and white lighthouse of Nieuwpoort on the Belgian coast. Taken on a warm summer evening just before sunset. The original lighthouse was built in 1881 but was destroyed several times during WWI and WWII. The current lighthouse dates from 1949.
I really have a soft spot for lighthouses. They are so photogenic and when I come across one I just have to capture it in photo!
