The Westerheversand lighthouse, a landmark of the Eiderstedt peninsula in Schleswig-Holstein, stands majestically on a mound in front of the village of Westerhever. Built in 1906, this historic lighthouse still serves as a sea, cross and leading light today, with a height of fire of 41 metres and a range of light of around 39 kilometres.
