About the artwork

Lighthouse at night. The lighthouse is and was very important for the sailors, a point of light on the coast. In this photo, it seems that the lighthouse shines its light more than the sky into the universe. Earth is a beacon in the vast universe and perhaps the light shines towards the sky because Earth itself is looking for help.

The lighthouse in the photo is the lighthouse of Porto Conte in Sardinia. Sardinia is a great place to photograph the stars because it is one of the few places in Europe with little light pollution. The photo was taken with an SLR camera and a long shutter speed.

Porto Conte is a unique ecological heritage. The Porto Conte Regional Park, established in 1999, extends over five thousand hectares of coast and hinterland of Alghero. The largely flat area borders the sea for 60 kilometers: sandy beaches alternate with steep cliffs. The southern border is the Calich Lagoon, the 'lung' of several animal species. To the north are Mount Doglia and the bay of Porto Conte. Inside you will find the spectacular scenery of the peaks of Giglio and Cristallo, Porticciolo and Cala Viola, the caves of Capo Caccia and the forest of Le Prigionette, once called 'Noah's Ark' because they house, among other things, fallow deer, Giara horses and introduced white horses. donkeys.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
