The lines seem simple, but the strips overlap. They have different shapes and colours. This limits the view of any pattern. in some places, there seems to be depth in the structure, in other parts of the work, everything seems flat. You have a limited view of the structure and construction.
This is also because of the glasses that have been put over it. The glasses of someone who may have just stepped in from the rain and, with fogged-up glasses, does not perceive the contours so sharply. A bit foggy.
It is the creator's glasses, ambiguous in the execution of the work, but also because the glasses look tellingly like those of the work's creator.
Incidentally, the work is also available without the glasses, but then you miss some depth ...
