The Serralves Museum in Porto is easily a day-long activity if you are in Porto. The museum itself will easily keep you busy for a couple of hours and then there are the huge gardens surrounding the museum itself. There is even a treetop walk in this park.
But also be sure to check out the herb garden and farm located at the end of the complex. There's a gazebo there where plants are grown, but next door you'll find this canopy. On a sunny day, the play of lines is duplicated in shadows, which only makes it more exciting. The lines draw your attention into the distance.
I love the combination between nature and architecture. Simple structures that incorporate a bit of greenery and radiate peace and space on the wall.
