About ‘Little angel’ by Dwaal de Tinten
During one of my many visits to old cemeteries, this little angel caught my eye.
I’d been to this particular cemetery several times over the years, and it saddened me to see that many of the angel figurines I’d photographed in previous years had been destroyed. So I decided to take my photos'with even more love and care.

For me, photography is a way of wandering.
I follow the light, the atmosphere, the feeling of a moment.
Reflections that reveal depth, shadows that tell stories, moments that hover between dream and reality.
I wander where the traces of time are visible. Industrial heritage, silent remnants of labour and faded glory, through cemeteries and forgotten corners.
My photographs seek out the light in stone, rust, concrete and shadow.
They capture what once bustled…
