Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

Komodo National Park in Indonesia is renowned worldwide for its breathtaking underwater world. Amongst the colourful coral reefs and dive sites (such as Batu Bolong) lives an unprecedented variety of small shrimps, such as the emperor cleaner shrimp and the marbled shrimp.

Key details for exploring this underwater world:
Location & Access: The base is the port town of Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores.
Travel: It is approximately a 1.5-hour flight from Bali.
Activities: Snorkelling and diving are the best ways to spot this unique macro-biodiversity.
Some well-known species of shrimp found here are:
Emperor cleaner shrimp (Periclimenes imperator): often lives in symbiosis with nudibranchs and sea urchins.
Marbled shrimp (Saron sp.): a beautiful, camouflaged shrimp that hides in the reef.
