About "Living Portrait of Flowers"

About the artwork

In this work, the bouquet almost seems to stretch out towards the window visible in the background. The flowers dance from red to pink, from blue to bright yellow. The diversity of shapes and colours gives the feeling of looking at a small garden that fits into a single vase. At the bottom is an opened book, a detail often not noticed until later. For me, that little book is the heart of the work: a hint at reflection, stories and memories.

The inspiration came from classical art rooms in which still lifes often symbolised knowledge, travel experience and inner wealth. I wanted to revive that idea, but with softness and movement. The technique combines paint-like texture with almost tangible petals, making the bouquet seem to break free from its frame.

The atmosphere is calm and contemplative, a mix of daylight and deep colours that has an almost meditative quality. The work invites you to pause for a moment, as if turning a page in your mind. In an interior, it brings that gentle balance between colour and tranquillity, between nature and stories.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
