About ‘Lofoten church’ by Thijs Friederich

On my photo trip to the Lofoten Islands, we visited several little churches. Some were even more beautiful in the landscape than others. This little church near Gimsøy is very pretty on a mountain but also on the beach. It is secluded and you can make compositions from different angles. The red colour of the seaweed matches the blue sky beautifully. The little church also contrasts nicely with the mountain. Because I was ditching on the seaweed, I took a number of photos's (photostack) and later combined them so everything is sharp.
