About ‘London Eye’ by Ray63

The London Eye, originally known as the Millennium Wheel, is an impressive Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames in London. With a height of 135 metres, it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it opened in 2000 and has become the UK's most popular paid tourist attraction, with more than three million visitors each year. Supported by its cantilever design on only one side, the structure offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city from its 32 glass capsules, including iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. A full rotation takes about 30 minutes and moves so slowly (0.9 km/h) that passengers can usually get in and out while the wheel is turning. Although originally intended as a temporary attraction, the London Eye's immense popularity has made it a permanent and indispensable part of the London skyline

Born in 1963. When I was young I really liked drawing with pencil. Left it alone for a long time, but since 2015 I picked up drawing again. Working with dry drawing techniques I like very much. Especially working with charcoal has my big preference. Easy to steer, immediate results and you can work a bit more coarse, which contributes to the lively organic expression.
