Leaving the village of Paciano in Umbria, Italy on foot using Via Marconi, as you look down the street you can see the contrasts of the traditional stone walls with the painted plaster facades of some homes and apartments. Passing the contrada flags in the distance you can see tables and chairs outside the two restaurants that nestle just inside the walls before you reach the exit, Porta Fiorentina. Inside the street is shaded from the sun, the sunlight is just highlighting the tops of the buildings, where a side road joing the street, and you can see that the square beyond the archway is filled with sunshine.
