This work shows a special vista of Delft. The photograph was taken from the 108 meter high tower of the Nieuwe Kerk.
Delft is best known for the fact that William of Orange resided there from 1572 and was murdered in 1584. Since then, the Oranges have traditionally been interred in Delft's Nieuwe Kerk. Delft's nickname is the City of Princes.
