About ‘Lost friend’ by RednaS Photography

Lost Friend

A small toy figure, half-hidden beneath dust and cobwebs, forms the quiet focal point of this photograph. It was probably once a cherished possession, held by little hands and part of everyday adventures. Now it lies forgotten in a space where time seems to have stood still. It is precisely this contrast between innocence and abandonment that makes this image so special to me.

When taking photographs, I look for the traces people leave behind, not the decay itself. Abandoned objects often reveal more about a place than the space in which they are found. Using natural light and minimal post-processing, I try to capture that atmosphere exactly as I found it: honest, tranquil and without exaggeration.

‘Lost Friend’ is part of my series ‘Echoes of Silence’, in which light, silence and abandoned objects come together to tell stories. These are not images that explain everything, but photo's that invite you to pause for a moment and discover a memory or story within the image for yourself.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
