About ‘The Last Dance’ by RednaS Photography

The Last Dance

A single ballet shoe, left behind on a dusty floor and caught in a narrow beam of natural light. It is a simple image, but it is precisely this simplicity that leaves room for one’s own story. Was this the end of a performance, a final rehearsal, or merely a forgotten moment? The photograph offers no answers and invites the viewer to interpret what is visible for themselves.

When taking photographs, I am not looking for decay, but for the traces of human life that remain when a place loses its original function. The worn-out shoe, the cobweb and the silent surroundings together tell a story of time, memories and transience. By working with natural light and minimal post-processing, I try to capture the atmosphere as I found it, without exaggerating it.

‘The Last Dance’ forms part of my series ‘Echoes of Silence’, in which light, silence and abandoned objects come together to tell new stories. The focus is not on the absence of people, but on the tangible memory of their presence.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
