About ‘Lumicon electron’ by Amsel Mahjong

This graphic work is the first part of a series of three. It shows a special, visually surprising creation that is entirely collaged from various parts of industrial-looking constructions, components and other technical elements. My compositional approach is sculptural, for example by putting parts of electricity pylons, industrial architecture or other technical artefacts into each other like a three-dimensional structure in order to create a new compositional construction. The semi-minimalist and semi-abstract design makes it both elegant and interesting in its variable structures. The atmosphere of the work creates a nostalgic feeling, sometimes reminiscent of the golden twenties and what made them possible in the first place in its colour scheme and interplay of forms: Industrialisation and Electricity. Inspired by the former cable works in the south-east of Berlin. The work is a tribute to the beauty of the industrial age and a reminder of its essential role in our history. The collage is attractive to those who appreciate the beauty of simple, old-fashioned things that are often not looked at. It harmonises with many spaces and contexts, but especially in dialogue with architecturally sophisticated objects.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
